I was a proponent of replacing Farrell with him during Farrell's last year. I loved him and his Puerto Rico connection in the 2018 run. I was very much in favor of hiring him back after his year "suspension"...but I'm totally OK with switching it up next year. I don't "blame" him per se, but I don't know if I see him as the answer, either.
Feels a bit like JD Martinez c.2022. He's not the reason the team is losing, but I'm perfectly happy to move on from him when his contract is up.
Where’s the pitching? The best prospects in Worcester have ERA’s between 4.75 - 7.01. I don’t see much pitching help all that close.

Oh, they’re not there, and in the end that will be Blooms final nail in the coffin, but he’s stacked the farm pretty well with position prospects. This team needs a GM who isn’t afraid to lose a trade. It’s been clear for two years this team needed pitching and rather than trade for it, Bloom kicked around the bargain bin for mediocrity or worse.
They could put together a rotation of Martin Perez, Eduardo Rodriguez, Rich Hill, Michael Wacha.
They don't have to be the top 3, just guys that can get through a season.
