The MFY are in town for four games and before they get transported back to The Toilet, Cora needs to give them a glimpse into the future and unleash the Baby BoSox. Looking forward to seeing Casas, Abreu, Rafaela, Valdez and Crawford contribute to a good, old fashioned butt whuppin'. @LynnRice75 and @InsideTheParker ....DO YOUR THING!!!!

What are the chances this thing gets played tonight? Looks like crappy weather.
Says there’s a flood watch until 2Am but also says there’s only about a 50% chance of rain at any given time

So who the heck knows

But they would have a twin bill tomorrow or Thursday if I was in charge

These kids today, so dainty. So there are thunderstorms expected for every minute of tonight's game. There are no trees to fall on them in Fenway. Are they gonna melt? Isn't my entertainment more important?

Also since Rizzo is out for the season and I presume not going to be in the dugout, I have no idea who I want to be electrocuted

Maybe Cole?

A lot of my personal intrigue in this series is lost with the Martian out.

Maybe Cora will really start playing little Raffy & Abreu everyday.

On Saturday, a football game (you know, that tough, much tougher sport than baseball) was delayed as all the players were sent off the field to shelter because lightning got to within 8 miles of the field. 8 miles, or about 141 football field lengths! I always think of George Carlin's masterpiece "baseball vs. football." Maybe football isn't so much tougher anymore.

If the MFY's didn't have enough of a shitshow season, their big rookie sensation, Jasson Dominguez is done with a torn UCL in his right elbow (throwing arm) and will have Tommy John surgery ASAP. They are optimistic 6 months but damn, talk about a kick in the nuts.

The Yankees are here. Time for us to brace
ourselves for a series where we must face
our arch enemy in the pennant chase
to see who comes out on top in the race.
Meditate to get in a good headspace.
If we have fear, we cannot show a trace.
Send up our best hitters! Pitch every ace!
Play solid defense! Take the extra base!
Some series don’t matter, but in this case,
it’s do or die, so we have to keep pace.
Behold the battle for fourth and fifth place!

Wow. Even I can't seem to make myself happy about that.

Is he allowed to grow face hair during the rehab, or is that not permitted?

If there’s a lineup out that means they’re trying to play, right?
Or putting the decision off till the last second so that they can sell hot dogs and beer?
It's supposed to have been raining out here most of the afternoon and all it's done is drip occasionally.
The current pattern shows a band of rain S. of Boston. Maybe it'll stay that way?

Looks like most of the nastiness on the radar will stay south oFenway during the first couple of innings

Exactly like it has for a while. Gray with light rain here and there. Way more playable conditions than yesterday.
Thanks -appreesh

Attleboro is getting hammered though it looks like but that’s obviously too far to the south!

More predictable than the weather. Speaking of...How do things look for tomorrow and Wednesday? That may have have some influence on how quickly they decide on tonight's game.
Thursday looks fine

Tomorrow looks much better (than today) maybe something at the very end of the night

Wednesday is a little better than today but yeah you’re right they may need to move that one to Thursday

They really should move tonight to tomorrow afternoon
And then Wednesday to Thursday afternoon

Everytime I play a radar projection I don't see any clearing til midnight. Are they trying harder to squeeze this in cause it's an Amazon game?
