Ok, it would be hard to carry on with an office job after that, but how can he set his head/neck to judge whether the outer smidgeon of the ball traveling 98 mph grazed the edge of the strike zone?

Sale topping out at 92 MPH. He has to maintain pinpoint control.
Whatever role he may play next season, it does seem like he needs to re-invent himself with this type of velocity. That's a thing that seems to be less common in this era of maximus exertion.
That's why I tend to see him in 2024 as a LH Martin (or maybe an opener?) as it is asking an awful lot for him to navigate through 5+ innings per start with this arsenal.
Jays will have 4 starters with over 30 starts this year. Canadian Health Care System is better than I thought.
