The dopes don’t need any more smoke blown up their asses. And LynnRice? Sure. He made a rotten season tolerable, but let’s not lose our shit here acting like he solved world hunger.

Today, we celebrate the shitposters. You know who we are. Banal. Quantity over quality. All hat no cattle fuckwits that add nothing and make us all dumber than when we started. Tell jokes that make nobody but ourselves laugh and then take a victory lap like we just shit fresh lemon poppyseed muffins.

Win one for us today, Sox. Because while the signal to noise ratio for SOSH is pretty high, this place doesn’t work without the rest of us. Shoveling the shit in the basement to keep the engines running, while the rest of you think you are too good to get your hands a little dirty.

Game 153
We won a game, but before we had flexed
our muscles in triumph, we lost the next.
I’m not upset, disappointed, or vexed.
I am accustomed to being perplexed
by the state of the Sox. Maybe we’re hexed.
10 games remain and after they’ve been exed
off of the schedule, we’ll pay our respects,
watch players collect their final paychecks,
keep track via SOSH threads, Twitter, and text,
hoping for moves that will restack the decks.
There’s a game today. It barely affects
our season at all. Still: Don’t get poleaxed.

Verdugos slide toward offensive mediocrity has been hard to watch. Wish he'd had a better second-half

Not good there Bello. Can't be walking the leadoff hitter who will easily take second.

I've been disappointed by Urias defensively when I've watched him. He was supposed to be good defensively at 2B but I haven't seen it yet.

He's been pretty average there by most advanced metrics. At 3B in Milwaukee I heard he was a disaster

If Cora remains, I think Urias loses his 2B spot to Reyes.
I'll reprise something I posted Monday:

On the radio they were discussing how Cora is a big supporter of Reyes. Alex told them Reyes would be playing more if the games mattered, but they are giving looks at other folks who have less time in Boston.

JFC Bush! What did you say to Bello so he would give up the back to backs? Nice work.
