We won, but I’m calm, with the comprehension -
that one victory won’t start some ascension
that rockets the Sox back into contention.
I mean, that would take a giant suspension
of disbelief, or some kind of invention
to shift me into another dimension.
Yet, I’m still a fan, and thus, by extension,
the Sox have my heart and my full attention.
(Plus, we gained a game. Is that worth a mention?)

Going with under, think he’ll manager to get 12 outs. I don’t think it’ll be a disaster or anything but yeah. Not getting my hopes up.
I turn on the Mets game and see someone throwing a matzah ball for the ceremonial first pitch. I have so many questions.
I think there's actually a good chance this team makes a bit of a run with Sale and Story et al finding their sea legs, but it will almost certainly be too little too late.

I'll take the over, but just. 4.2 maybe, but he'll leave a bunch of runners for Jacques or whoever to allow to score. Lotsa strikeouts, though!

Witt not wanting to take ball 4. Weird given that a walk is as good as a double or triple for that guy. Swung at three or four ball fours.
Yeah, looked like it that at bat. Given how good he is at running, he could be a monster with a better OBP.
I feel like Casas is a decent fielder at 1B, especially these past few months. He isn't Freeman or a Jeter over there but he is pretty credible.
Is the pitch box off because of the weird angle, or are they all really swinging a foot off the plate left?
He's gonna be locked in there at first for at least another six years. Might as well get better.
Yeah, I don't have any concerns about him. He'll be perfectly competent over there.
