Yeah, I don't have any concerns about him. He'll be perfectly competent over there.
You see some of the the comments on him here and you'd think he is a complete butcher. Devers has legit fielding issues imo. If Casas could field better we'd be talking about a top tier 1B right now. His hitting looks to be that good.

Nothing Devers likes more than a changeup eight inches off the plate

Not a butcher. But a smooth fielding first baseman would help gather some of the wild throws from Devers. You can live with one below average fielding corner power hitters.
Two of them is a liability. Let's hope Casas is not at his peak fielding ability.

Miami (oh, Miami!)
KC 39 pitches total through three.
Sox 63 pitches.

You know, maybe the Sox should consider hiring somebody to try to put together a plan to deal with that sort of thing. Like if it's a concern or something.

They could be called a pitching. . .a pitching. . .

Help me out here.

A hitting one could also help to narrow the gap.

Stick around this game long enough and you can make some dough. Grienke has made about $500 million. Crazy.

Greinke and Cabrera are the only current players who were in MLB in 2004

You have to think that a better offensive team than KC would have made this outing by Sale look a lot worse

Nah. They just gotta sign guys with ability and then do nothing.
Ok, you want to take shots. Who amongst us is in these threads constantly complaining win or lose? Its all you do. And it gets old real quick. If you dont like the Sox, quit following the team or accept that bad outcomes will happen. Complaining when you don't get your way doesn't change anything and isn't fun.
