There needs to be a bloodletting when this season ends. GM, manager and every coach needs to be gone. It won’t happen of course but hey, a guy can dream.
We should field a team of pitchers who all go just one inning. We can just rearrange the order they throw each game.
And what would you have done with your highly paid “ace” signed by DD laid and egg and failed to go 5 IP in yet another start. im would be perfectly fine just releasing sale this offseason. Eat the money and you can use his roster spot for someone better.

That certainly is a possibility. Casas has had a fine season regardless of whether or not he is ROY.
Of the second bananas, Loomer Loni is the best one. And I don’t think it’s close. Maybe Middlebrooks could get there eventually.

because of the rain delay, the NESN 360 app thinks Charlie Moore started at 8:00, which kicked me out of the 4K/HDR broadcast for some reason.
I went back to the main menu to see if the feed was still available as an option, but as far as NESN 360 is concerned, there’s no Red Sox game happening right now, so the 4K feed is just… gone.

On the one hand, this team seems really bad and unwatchable. But on the other hand, not acquiring "good" players has helped materially increase John Henry's profit margins, so in a way this has actually been an extremely successful season.
That was the icing on the cake, though there’s still tomorrow’s loss. Maybe the O’s will put up a 15 spot.
