Pritchard has the POINTZ but Kornet is my MVP of the game so far. Dude has been dominating on both ends, altering shots, grabbing contested boards, dunking the alleyoops.

It also really jumps out in this game how much the Celtics bench and prospects are almost all +defenders. These guys played well on offense in the first half. But they played great on defense, on the offensive glass, and in other 'hustle' ways.

It doesn't hurt to have Payton Pritchard, surrounded by a strong defense, do a decent impression of Isaiah Thomas c. 2016. (With Hauser in the Horford-esque role as his primary assist target)

To his credit: Payton has added so much to his game since his rookie year

Slam I Am needs to pick it up out there. edit: now at 16! c'mon Sam!
He’s laying some serious bricks. My daughter is here with me doing work - yelling “pass it to Sam!” on every possession.

Unfortunately, he’s probably done for the night.

The OKC Blue are so screwed on Monday night. They're gonna be talking to Queta and Davison during warmups, oh hey, what you been up to since Thursday? Oh not much, relaxing weekend, you? Yeah just beating the Charlotte Hornets by 30 I guess, nbd.

They really are dialed in and coordinated on D, it's a joy to watch, even if most of our talent is in street clothes tonight.

And as much as I love him, IT4's defense made Pritchard look like Prime Kawhi.

OMG Joe challenging a call while up by 30 in this game. 100% on-brand. Bro padding his stats.

edit: and he wins it, naturally.

I think this game should solidify Brad as Exec of the Year. It's amazing his ability to add this much talent up and down the roster while at the same time all these dudes seem like really good guys

PUT IN HAUSER YOU COWARDS

I don't care if he was Sir Bricks-a-lot tonight, baby gotta get back out there
To be honest, I didn’t expect Hauser to be benched in garbage time when seeing the starting five. Pretty funny.

When we were down 8-4 in the early going, the thought ran through my head that, welp, I guess this is the kind of game we're going to lose by 20.

What an absolute asskicking.

So many fun aspects to this game. All of the Mainers had numerous moments, Springer played well, etc etc

I missed the first half but taped the game, and rewatching this morning, I'm struck by how genuinely excited the varsity guys like Horford were when the Baby C's came to bench after making good plays.

The chemistry on this team appears to be fantastic.

They did the same thing for Brogdon and TimeLord vs the Blazers on Sunday. No tribute, just a quick shoutout on the Jumbotron. Rob got a huge ovation and engaged with the crowd (waving, smiling) for a while. Looks like he got more screen time due to his reaction compared to Grant, who really didn’t react.

Yeah, I feel like the jumbotron operator made the call in the moment that Grant looked awkward and it was time to bail.
