Was that Lucchino? How does he look older than me when he's three years younger? Baseball really takes it out of a guy.
I too was noticing that he has really aged. on a semi related note, didn’t he step away from ownership a few years ago? I wonder if that correlates in any way with the apparent change in philosophy of ownership that apparently occurred a few years back.

I know that he's not there, but maybe we should do another fucking standing ovation for Mookie?

Every freakin’ time in the last month where I’ve made it a point to watch a game from the first pitch… they suck.

Boo.

Boooooo this team.

Captain Lou Abreau at the plate.
I once worked with a woman for several years with the last name of Albano before one day she casually mentioned that Lou was her uncle.

I immediately made her drop everything and regale me with stories for a half hour.

You know after Matt Damon beats Teddy KGB and Teddy is like "this son of bitch, all night, check, check, check."

I think of that scene whenever we play these Astros. I say it to myself, in a Russian accent, except I say "these son of bitch, all night, foul, foul, foul," and imagine Teddy saying it.

Turner just passed Raffi in OPS for the year, but give it 10 seconds, it might change.

Edit: Devers surges back ahead.

The Red Sox were way more exciting with Larry like the Yankees with Steinbrenner and Lakers with Bush.
