This is fucking disgusting and this alone should cost Claude his job.SpacemanzGerbil said:Greg Campbell got a minute more even strength TOI than Krejci, two and a half more than Lucic and about seven fucking hours more than Pastrnak and Spooner.
Add in breaking up the one line that has single-handedly kept them in the playoff hunt (Spoons/Pasta/Lucic) for half a game, and then waving the white flag when its too little too late, and changing the lines back. Just has the "throwing shit (Campbell) at the wall to see if it sticks" method of planning, doesnt inspire confidence in the method.BoSoxFink said:This is fucking disgusting and this alone should cost Claude his job.
Yeah, I am as well and it's completely indefensible. If they miss the playoffs, he will lose his job because when he needed the most out of his team, he relied on the worst player on his roster to produce. His loyalty to him will likely be his downfall. It's a shame, really, he's a good coach. Just a really really stupid thing to do, both with juggling the lines after winning five straight, and playing Campbell at all, let alone as your #4 forward. The Four Peters said:I'm as big a Claude supporter as you'll find and there is absolutely zero explanation for that TOI split. None. It's fucking shameful and terrifying at the same time.

Agreed. Moved the "fire Clode" needle a bit for me. Down 2-0 before the first TV timeout, you need to take risks and play the guys who are supposed to score. The Four Peters said:I'm as big a Claude supporter as you'll find and there is absolutely zero explanation for that TOI split. There's no excuse for the TOI, or even having Campbell in the lineup, as far as I'm concerned. But this is stupid, even by your standards.BoSoxFink said:This is fucking disgusting and this alone should cost Claude his job.
touché. But to be fair, I don't actually think I have been that bad with the "fire Claude" movement. There have been people far worse I think. I actually said the bigger problem has been Chiarelli. Recently though Claude is really pissing me off.Myt1 said:There's no excuse for the TOI, or even having Campbell in the lineup, as far as I'm concerned. But this is stupid, even by your standards.
If Claude were fired every time you posted that he should be fired for something alone, he'd be Billy Martin, dipped in napalm, and set alight.
