Good article from his agent on Malcolm Butlers journey from un-drafted football player to Super Bowl hero

By now, everyone who knows football has at least heard the name ‘Malcolm Butler‘ before. Malcolm is the player who picked off Russell Wilson’s improbable last-second pass into the end zone, sealing a Super Bowl win for the Patriots last February.

That's awesome.

Given the amount of stock put in 40 times....is there not space for more re-runs, as it were? Difference between 4.6 and 4.4 is key to this story, right?

Feel free to re-edit the opening post to include a hook and not the whole damned piece--we're not trying to step on other websites here.

Thanks.

The other funny thing is, it's not like he did well in the other drills, either. Per nfldraftscout.com, he had 13 bench reps, a 9'10" broad jump, a 33.5" vertical, 4.27 shuttle and a 7.20 3-cone. These are all bad figures, in the bottom 15-25%. I don't know whether he slept funny the night before or was nervous or what.

For obvious reasons, looks like BB uses both evaluation methods when looking at players. We may use the Butler comp for years when talking about the last 5 roster spots and why they were kept.
