Jack does righteous anger like no other announcer in the league. He also does unrighteous anger like no other announcer in the league. This is the latter.
Kinda. DeBrusk swatted at the puck at the same time the Caps guy did and their sticks were in the same place so I can see why the ref blew the whistle. Once the whistle blows the play is dead. The problem is they reviewed it and gave no explanation to the crowd.
Delayed penalty call against the B's. B's forward pursuing the Caps puck carrier behind the Caps goal. B's stick gets close to puck, but does not touch. Caps player with the puck plays it towards the goalie. Ref blows whistle saying the B's player touched it. Goalie obviously relaxes from his athletic stance hearing the whistle, and the puck then deflects in off him.
The argument is ridiculous. Yes, it should not have been blown dead, but the reason the puck went in was also because it was blown dead.
Not gonna win if you're giving up 13-1 shots in a period, good grief. Tuukka should be irate with this effort in period 2

At this point I'd rather hear Gord Kluzak rambling on about the importance of the refs / linesmen picking up sticks and gloves during fights for player safety than the diarrhea firehouse coming out of Jack's mouth
Technically if you hit the SAP button and there’s no Spanish translation then it just muted the announcers.
Problem with that is it’s a pain in the ass and I do like Brick
