On that note, we haven't gotten a good game out of Crowder yet. In the regular season he was reliably getting to the line off a simple drive-and-kick/pump-fake game, but I don't have an insight as to why that's disappeared - either tough Atlanta defense, reduced effectiveness due to the sprain, or some combination thereof I guess. A good couple of games from him would go a long way.
Crowder doesn't really have a great first step off the dribble but he always gives maximum effort. It seems that in the regular season he could pick his spots as defenders took possessions off semi-regularly however against consistent playoff level intensity those opportunities are now shut off.
Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines. I suppose if he just had a good night shooting from deep that would help us even more than him discovering another gear.
