1: Michigan
2: Washington
3: Florida State
4: *Alabama (I love Bama, but this should be Texas)
I haven’t seen a team come into Tuscaloosa and put a serious beatdown on Bama like that in a long while. And that final score line was not indicative on how lopsided that game was. That was week 2, but it should mean more and should be the tiebreaker.
Bama’ beating Georgia should also have a lot of value. Beating a #1 Georgia, ending a 29-game winning streak, on their way to a 3-peat. Neutral field, but that game was played in Atlanta and was full of Georgia fans.
You can’t leave FSU out. They went undefeated and if they don’t get in, then this whole thing is a sham. Obviously, FSU doesn’t have Jordan Travis anymore, but they can’t be left out in the cold.
Texas is probably playing the best football as of late and I’d like to see how they’d do in this, but I don’t think there is a chance in hell that the SEC is not represented here.
Bring on the 12-team tournament so this stuff can be put to bed.
