Gonna be a warm one in Austin.
That better end up being a scrimmage to get ready for Bama. Not sure how confident I should be about all of it. Ewers needs to make massive progress, Brooks needs to show his stars, but at least we won’t have to rely entirely on Worthy to catch the ball. And Sark needs to have his head surgically removed from his rear end in game management.

Yea who knows. They have the deepest bench in more than a decade and the lines should be improved. No reason the shouldn’t win 9-10. Can’t trust Sark at all however.

I agree that it's all about Ewers and Sark game management. If we learn anything about the latter the season is over anyway. Hopefully Ewers is sharp and no one gets hurt.

LSU-FSU is in Orlando. Given the relatively narrow scope of the hurricane (it will be devastating where it hits, but won’t cut a path of destruction hundreds of miles wide), I’d expect the game Sunday to go on.

Plus it's Sunday.

UCF tomorrow night is the bigger risk to be canceled/postponed imho.

My GF lives in Conroe (TX) and for reasons too banal to list I follow her local HS football team. Watching right now. JFC the quality of HS football at the 6A level in Texas is like watching CFB.

Is it on YouTube? I watched Melisa v Argyle last week and they both could best a D 2 school.

I am only watching this as a URI fan who saw 'oh hey, they are keeping it close at Georgia State' who is now an FBS team. But it was Georgia State up 42-35 with a 4th and 1+ with just under 2 minutes left. The runner dives forward, definitely not making the apparent line to gain which was the URI 37 based on the sideline markers. The ref marks it at the 37 1/3 yard line, short of the 37. The refs measure not once but twice, and with the ESPN+ vantage point on the Rams side of the line of scrimmage, I could STILL see the first down marker past the football. Both times, the ref points first down Ga.St. On the second measurement, the marker somehow gets moved back from its initial placement. Then they go to an official review which takes only 15 seconds, no lie, and "first down confirmed". The spread was -14.5 Ga.St. but at least one of the refs HAD to have the money line in this game for that last call. Wow!

Tonight will be Florida's first non-conference road game outside of the state since 1991.
And the first time an SEC team has played at Utah.

Yes. And it led directly to a Utah TD. Napier is a fraud.
I took my fiancé's uncle to the game, who flew in from Florida, and that fanbase is well aware already that Napier may be a great recruiter but cannot manage a game. He was completely unsurprised by how sloppy and poorly coached they were. This is not going to end well for Florida, I think.

I don’t like McAfee replacing Corso

He talks too much, too much of a personality, don’t want him to overshadow Herbie
