Minnesota is 1-4-1 this season when trailing after 2 periods. 18-0-1 when leading after 2.
Also, MIN allowed the first goal in 7 of its 8 losses and in six of those contests the Gophers trailed by two or more goals

Will be at the BC-Union game tomorrow evening in Providence with my BC daughter. Looking forward to seeing my alma mater Quinnipiac in the opening game....
I'll be there too. Always hard to root for the ECAC teams that you're normally rooting against, but I'll be cheering for Quinnippiac.jsinger121 said:Me too. Class of 2004. Its been 11 years between appearances and I can say I will have been at both of them.

Don’t think we’ll get any EZAC jokes from Gophers fans for a long time now.
The game is actually on NESN. It was even worse there - they completely missed the penalty shot.mabrowndog said:UW's Jefferson Dahl was awarded a penalty shot, and CH stonewalls him. Thanks, ESPN, for coming back from commercial just as the skater was approaching the net without viewers having any fucking idea what was happening. Assholes. Downright NESN-esque.

The USCHO "live blog" was more like a chat room, chock full o' neanderthal WCHA arrogance and ignorance, crowing about their superior depth & talent and bitching about East Coast bias in the PWR and seeding process. Fucking idiots.
Seeing MIN, UND, WIS and DEN all knocked out before Saturday even begins would be tremendous.
