Is there any level of suspension that you would advise Tom to accept?

According to NFL network they're still talking.
AEI Guy: "The Ideal Gas Law therefore shows there was nothing nefarious done."
Goodell: "I don't get it."
Wells: "I don't get it."
AEI Guy: "They didn't cheat. It was because of the cold."
Goodell: "I still don't get it."
Wells: "Me neither."
AEI Guy: "Your car tires? In winter. They lose air, right?"
Goodell: "Yes."
Wells: "Yes."
AEI Guy: "It is the same thing. Except, these were footballs instead of car tires."
Goodell: "I don't get it."
Wells: "Me neither."
Goodell: "Next witness. . . . . "

39 lawyers on the clock.

I imagine Goodell in there, sighing loudly every time someone else gets to talk, tapping his foot, playing Angry Birds, asking if anyone else is hungry, etc.

This sums up the level of understanding of everyone I've met who thinks the Pats did something wrong here.

Well this and:

"They have a history of cheating!"

And

"What about the texts and the trip to the bathroom?"

And

"Why didn't the Colts' footballs deflate?"

@garymyersNYDN: Brady appeal hearing over after 11 hours. Jeff Pash followed Goodell by five minutes.

@PSchrags: And from everyone I'm speaking with, the longer the better for the Brady camp. They're on the offensive, here.

You won't know anything for weeks.

Roger handled one of the previous appeals in about 8 days, so afternoon of Friday, July 3rd looks possible.

Intuitively, yes. But they are arguing in front of Goodell, so who the hell knows?

“@BartHubbuch: Brady attorney Jeff Kessler: ”I don’t know what the timetable is (for a ruling), but we feel like we made a very compelling case in there.“”

Every report has been saying we should have some kind of conclusion tonight.

They said it might be done tonight, but no announcement.

I  know RG wasn't the jury on Greg Hardy's appeal, but that ended almost a month ago and still no answer.

That's not an analogous situation because they are waiting on the result of the appeal on the Peterson case in federal court which they argue, the result of which could influence the Hardy case.

It's kinda crazy they are doing that, but hey, this is all pretty nuts.

RT @LorenzoGReyes: #NFLPA counsel Jeffrey Kessler, just now: ”We put in a very compelling case, that’s all I’ll say.“ #Deflategate”

Ah, thanks for the clarification.
