This is getting tough to follow. Is there any hard information here, or have we just had two or three pages, because one member who may or may not be a lawyer posted that the Patriots would get the report at 9:00 a.m.?
Is there any other hard information about the timing of the report out there being reported, because it's kind of hard to tell the difference between information and jokes in this thread.

After the draft. His theory is that it would have come out before the draft if the Pats were being punished. This is bad reasoning (a) because the Falcons were docked a '16 pick all the way back on March 30th, so no reason to assume it's a '15 pick or nothing; and (b) no reason to assume that the report and discipline would issue simultaneously, since it's an "independent" report. What I'm gathering from SoV twitter is that they really don't know much of anything new. They heard something within the first 24 hours after the initial report and have stuck to their guns ever since. For some reason today they are ramping up their attention to this, but have not indicated that they know anything new or that the report will be out today.

The commish is apparently in the middle of some AOL live streaming interview series at the moment. I doubt they release the report until this is wrapped up and Goodell has a chance to take cover in his Park Ave bunker.

I look forward to the conspiracy theories about how the NFL and Commish are afraid of sullying a Superbowl Championship, therefore they are covering up the cheating by the Patriots. Or, you know, how Goodell is in bed with Kraft and therefore would never want to tarnish his organization.
All of this ignoring facts of course, and the inconvenient truth that Goodell and the NFL punished the Patriots like never before in league history for the rather innocuous "crime" of filming opposing team's signals from the wrong location on the field.

We really have no concrete information on any of this, but the one thing that does give me a little bit of excitement about a potential Colts issue is that it seemed like, on a dime, the tone of Kravitz and Doyel both changed completely. It makes me wonder if they heard something not terribly flattering to the Colts.

As far as I'm concerned, unless they order the franchise disbanded or force the team to play with 25 players next year, the whole thing is a joke, regardless of the outcome. Goodell is a soul-less, incompetent, Peter Principle exemplar. Kraft is a gazillionaire who wants to remain that way. Goodell and people who think war metaphors are appropriate for the NFL are the only ones who see this not as a joke, but as a morality play on par with Nuremberg.
There's a scoreboard. And the Patriots usually end up on the winning side of it.
