I think the Ft. Wayne Pistons won a conference title in the 1940s. That counts. Lions fans don’t need to win.
Just to counter this a bit…one of my best friends was one of the creatives behind the at home with baker commercials and said he’s one of the nicest celebs he’s ever worked with. Not a primadonna. Would send my buddy gear for himself and his kids at Christmas etc etc
Also the point Collinsworth made — the kicks are not gimmes. That is really the tie breaker on going for 2.

I mean not calling timeout. The Bucs invited a throw on 3rd down. If they called TO at 245 Detroit would have run it.
This is a helluva game. Glad Detroit fans have memories of Al Kaline to keep them warm if they blow this.
This is a pretty awesome set up for the end of this game. Aside from the first game, the shield is having a great weekend.

Exactly. It worked out in that they saved a timeout. But a completion could have ended the game. No chance they throw with 245 left and no timeouts.
Still nice to have, though obviously far less important on offense.
If the first play gets tackled in bounds, it'll save 15 seconds or so (plus rushing around)
Detroit is probably running a screen or something if they use the timeout is my guess.
