Rangers fans this summer: we gotta get a snipah.
AV refusing to give up on St. Louis really hurt the team in their losses. He was worse than useless. That turnover on the 5 on 3 in Game 2 turned the entire series around. It comes down to a few things and a lot of luck and everytime St. Louis did anything, it was a fail. Even in the game he scored, on a wide open net, he literally missed 4 other gorgeous scoring opportunities. His presence also killed Hagelin.
Oh well, they do need a sniper but they have mortgaged the future in a GFIN mode, which I'm not unhappy about, but the years might catch up to this team. Henrik is going to be 34 next playoffs. He's starting to get old. He can still make a bevy of amazing saves but he also let in a few soft goals, ones he wouldn't have let in years ago. I am certainly not blaming him, though, he had so little room for error. All goalies give up soft goals. But when you have no room for error, they sting.
Also, the Rangers haven't scored at home, in the conf finals, in over 140 minutes. That's pathetic. They didn't deserve to win but it still hurts, getting to the Cup is so hard.
