I'm now obsessed with Daniel Carcillo. And MoGator, I dare you to bitch about calls after this game.
The missed call right before when he got hit by Hall (pretty sure it was Hall). I also remember being righteously pissed about another earlier call but I don't specifically remember and am willing to chalk it up to fandom.
Think that was Read. I didn't think it was intentional, but hard to tell.

The officiating has been bad. The Carcillo call was an obvious rep call, but overall they've been wildly inconsistent. The penalty Carcillo got during the Voracek-Hagelin fight was very ticky-tack, but then they let other stuff go. If feels like certain guys (Carcillo, Pouliot, Simmonds) are being watched and called closely.cromulence said:

His leg was really hampering him. He said he didn't feel comfortable going wide or to the net. Which are both kind of important.
That's not surprising but surprising, in that he was terrifying in Game 1. His second goal was a beaut.

Given his history, referees have decided that they're more likely to get the call right by assuming whatever happens is Carcillo's fault. He's probably reached his shelf life as a pest/agitator.
I'll bet Jack Johnson disagrees. He didn't bury him into the boards, but it was a check from behind near the boards. The preponderance of events with that guy causes the negative opinions.Greg29fan said:
