Coventry nick one right before halftime. I've chosen to watch that one.

Nothing on the board anywhere else.

I'm waiting for Maddison and/or De Bruyne to grace the turf.

A few times in the first half Spurs looked one good pass away from getting in behind City, but the past was never attempted or it wasn't completed.

City are coasting in second gear.

Can Maddison find Werner, who's been making runs in behind all game but no one has passed to him.

De Bruyne with a middle parting is something i might never get used to.

There was an awful lot of contact with the keeper. Before and after the kick.

Edit: Attacking player went straight up with eyes for the ball. I think this stands.

City the only winner on the day. Wednesday sneak an equalizer just inside the post very late. No goals in any of the others.

6th tier Maidstone holding a 2-1 lead over Ipswich at 76’. Already the lowest ranked side to make it this far.

Nice that Anthony Taylor's incompetence can contribute to the magic of the cup. Sarmiento got taken out to enable Maidstone's second goal a few yards away from Taylor

by any means necessary

There’s the whistle, Stoners are through. Keeper collapses in nervous exhaustion. He was very busy as Ipswich tightened the screws but they never really looked like equalizing

Everton go 442 for their game at Goodison against Luton. Doucoure and Gueye out so we’re going with Harrison McNeil on the wings, Garner and Onana central, and both Dom and Beto top.

Without Doucoure the midfield has been outmanned and overrun in that shape. I’ll be most unhappy if we let Ross Fucking Barkley run wild in the middle of the park.

Watching video of Luton enter the Goodison visitors dressing room. Saw it on the Goodison tour. It’s truly miserable. My junior high school had a better locker room. A little bit of Red Auerbach gamesmanship.

our tour guide told us that during COVID they used trailers in the street for locker rooms. And since more than one visiting side has asked if they could have the trailers back.

Absolutely disgusted. Clown show defending. No blue shits near the back post.

That’s a bit unfair. That would have been a ridiculously good goal from that angle and distance.

Liverpool completely fell asleep in that corner and it’s 1-1.
Of course youre right it would have been an insane goal. It’s just crazy how often he can juuuuuust barely miss. And of course he scores and puts LFC back up anyway
