hard to believe that a few months ago, tOSU would have lost the game vs Penn State but for a blown call in their favor, surely keeping them out of the playoff, and now here they are matching Oregon blow for blow in the national championship game.

well it was a post-play penalty. If it had been during the play, it would have been 1st down for Oregon. Just pointing out that it was essentially a non-penalty penalty
