I've been saying this for years. Whenever there's a big sports story I'll usually tune in at 2 for the first segment because I'm curious how Felger will go against the grain of the prevailing attitude, regardless of the topic. It's remarkable that the formula has been this sustainable in terms of ratings when the narrative is so predictable and cliched. Why do people expect anything different at this point? To predict Felger's take just stick your finger up into the wind, see where the consensus is going, and Felger will jump to the other side to drive "engagement".
