Why was that Blues guy holding his stick with 2 hands and hitting Bergy 3x in front of the net not a cross-check? I honestly don't know the nuances

Marchand’s beard is a scraggly ugly mess. Krug’s is about the same. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

A lot has gone right for St Louis tonight. Really tough for them not to be up right now. Win the 3rd.

You can do a ton of shit in front of the net if you don’t break the guy’s stick or make him fall. That area of the ice is just officiated differently.

The last five minutes of the 2nd period may have taken years off my life.

Feels like the game (in general) has mostly lost the penalties that aren't occurring in open ice. The Jackets in particular were fucking relentless with the cross check and I don't remember a single one called, at least not in the net front area. It's basically into the numbers along the boards or bust for that call these days.

It's the "Refs can't call everything" theory.

Blues have been getting away with it all playoffs.

It's their M.O.

I think that Chris Sale is a bit of a tool, the the Bruins need someone to be screaming his fucking head off in the locker room reminding this team that the Blues have ONE FUCKING PITCH!!!

I mean, the Blues fucking blow. They’re about as dangerous offensively as fucking safety scissors.

I truly don’t get the Binnington love.

fucking safety scissors doesn’t sound like a particularly safe activity.

NBC vaunting the Blues and Lance Armstrong. At least they're consistent in their promotion of dirty assholes

So weird, right? Has done absolutely nothing spectacular in this series and a bunch of the goals haven't exactly been screamers, not to mention the bar helping in game one. I don't see it. He has been...fine, at best.

Lance is afraid his 'win at all costs'-side is going to come back? Da fuq is he going to do roast some average Joe in a charity bike race?

Switch seats after that period, or ride it out?
I changed from long pajama pants to shorts and I’m washing my hands in the left-hand sink instead of the right. You know what you have to do. Don’t make me turn the bar of soap around in the shower.

There’s no need to kink shame
Touché.

The handles?
They’d have to be some seriously large handles.

(No they wouldn’t)

Agreed, but I didn’t watch any of the Blues games prior to the WCF.

I dunno. NBC is pretty fuckin dumb, so they might actually think people care about a retired cheating asshole.

It’s been over the top, but he IS a rook. He’s been super shaky through 5 periods though.

I wish I could get such a nice edit from a major network for doing mundane things at my job.

"That email Jed sent was extremely thorough and well-mannered, that's really going to pay off for his team later on."
