Guys, girls, Stripes.....every one has sand in their bathing suits over in the game 5 thread. Rick Nash is the devil and an embedded Rag, yiayia's dropping dead, McAvoy awful (this is actually true this series, though), Greeks ruining pizza, Haggs and Murph looking at each other to confirm the rumor the series is actually over and we lost 2-3.

Everyone fucking calm the fuck down. He's got this.

We got this

We're not losing 2 straight to Taranna. They'll be overconfident and that's where our 1st and 4th lines will take advantage.

Whatever the hockey version of BABIP is, it'll return to our favor in game 6.

SASOG. (Scoring Average on Shots On Goal). SASOG is a vindictive God with a Whim of Iron. The Bruin has sacrificed sufficiently, SASOG has turned his gaze away from the Boston 19 and now focuses on his newest tormentees.

To be fair, sand in the bathing suit really fucking sucks.

Not as bad as sand in your pb&j that you've been waiting all day to eat because your mom makes the best pb&j and you've been saving it for just the right moment at the beach and you sit down on your nice clean towel and lay out your perfect lunch ready to eat and some fucker runs by and kicks up sand but then you eat the sandwich anyway because it's all you have and you've been waiting all day for it.

But it's close.

Sand in your bathing suit, at least for a guy, and assuming you are still at the beach, is a pretty minor irritant: go back in to the water and your problem is solved 100%. Sand in your PB&J, OTOH, there's no solution other than to crunch your way thru it.

The B's need to crunch their way through the Leafs. Hit everything that moves. Own the creases and the corners. And hit the back of the net!

I admit, I nancied. I thought man, using the word nancies could be deemed derogatory. Offensive. In the "New Millennial SoSH", could I even call out nancies without being banned? Fuckin' right I can, Nancy. The takeover isn't completed yet, and nancyism is still a plague to this board.

This is the fucking playoffs, nancy. You don't win games. You rip their still beating hearts out of their fucking chests and make them watch the last beats of it as the life fades from their eyes. You stomp out their life, with vigor, nancy. They don't die. The Bruins must kill them. Death is scary, isn't it nancy? Does it make you clutch your nancy pearls and think about how frightening the non-nancy world is? You bet your sweet little ass, nancy. So put down the pearls, pick up the BearMace, and follow Bearataur to the thrill of beating the life out of the maple leafs. LET'S FUCKING GO

Take the fucking game.

WIN IT FOR YIAYIA

Reports out that a van crashed into pedestrians injuring at least 10 people. Not sure what impact this would have on the game tonight, but obviously not a good situation.

Heinen out tonight. With the caveat that I couldn't watch last game and have no idea if he has an unreported injury: What the fuck? He's been very good this series in the 4 games I've seen

OK, normally I am so amped for the game right about now... but somehow I got my wires crossed and thought the game was tomorrow night. I just figured out it was tonight... so my anticipation is still building.

That said... is it 7 yet???

The third line was awful in game 5. I don't know that it was Heinen entirely, but Backes played well while Nash and Heinen did not.

I'm worried about McAvoy. Since the knee injury, hes been...off. Letting guys behind him on the rush, going down easy...wouldn't be shocked if he had some kind of surgery at the end of the season.

The 3rd line has been pretty bad this series, and I don’t think Heinen himself has been all that good. He’s had some moments, but overall he’s below 50% in Corsi, 44% in scoring chances, 33% in high danger chances...the whole line has just sort of been flat at ES. They haven’t been on the ice for a goal yet, and have conceded 1. I guess that isn’t horrible, but I don’t mind a shakeup. My guess is that the Bruins view is that they aren’t taking Riley or Backes out since they are vets and play prominent special teams roles, and then the 4th line has been good so they don’t want a shakeup there. So Heinen draws the short stick. I would’ve gone with Donato over Wingels, but they aren’t going to do that.

If he needed surgery he'd have had it already. They see a franchise defenseman in this kid and they're not going to screw around with his knee. The MCL probably isn't 100% and he's probably not all that comfortable playing in whatever brace he's wearing, so he looks a half step slower.

Time for the four line attack of the Bs to break through and leave no doubt who the better team is tonight. Crush them.

I get the sense that Toronto is going to come out blazing and the Bruins will need to withstand an early onslaught. A quick goal by Boston would obviously do wonders.

Well, if they are going to allow taking guys down without the puck all game, it’s fine.

But we know that won’t last.
