Ok, let's see who the smartest one in here is. Who wins Game 7 and why? Post your score.

I'll start it off by saying 110-105 Warriors with Splash Brothers returning to form and Draymond plus the role players outperforming the non-Bron/Irving Cavs. Close game most of the way but Warriors open it up in the 4th and close it out after a late run by the Cavs. Curry hits an impossible bomb to ice it and crowd goes nuts.

I think the Warriors blow it open by the middle of the 3rd QT. Warriors 118 - Cavs 103

I hope I'm wrong and it ends like this

Hope I'm wrong but game 7 at home. I just feel a warriors blitz right out the gate. 115-90 with most of the game being garbage time.

I say (guess, really) that the Cavs are imposing their will, and have beaten the Dubs down physically and mentally. Will w/stand a few runs and win 108-100.

Really have no idea since I've been picking the Warriors to close out the series since Game 5. The Warriors playing at home and having Draymond back should ice it; but the last two games have been a perfect storm for Cleveland. LeBron has played arguably the best basketball of his career, Kyrie has been a phenomenal second scorer, a couple role players (TT, Smith, Jefferson) have made impacts in each game, and some of the Warrior's key players have played poorly, with Barbosa being the only real player outside of the Big 3 to have an impact on the series. Throw in the Iggy injury and that might be enough to favor Cleveland. With that being said, I just like GS. They showed me a ton in their series against OKC, I think they are a mentally stronger team than Cleveland and I think the fear of being a 73 win flop is enough to push them just pass Cleveland, even with the injuries.

Two other things:

- It's kind of weird to see two very good teams play each other in a crucial game 7, yet would it surprise you if a (or multiple) star players played poorly in this game? A lot of talking heads will say some BS like "It's going to come down to what role players make an impact, because you know all the star players are going to bring it" when I feel like the way this series has gone, that is completely untrue. If Curry played poorly, would that really surprise anyone? What about Kyrie or Klay or Draymond? Really only LeBron is the player that I would feel confident in saying is going to play a great game.

- With the secondary ticket market reaching unprecedented heights, I wonder if that will nullify some of the home court advantages that GS has. I imagine that most of the normal GS fans who attended the games have been priced out (or cashed out their tickets) and in their place will be a bunch of 1 percenters who don't necessarily have a huge vested interest in seeing GS win.

Mo Speights with his predictions.

I got two predictions for you for Sunday.

Number 1: All our guys are gonna leave their guts out on the court.

Number 2: Steph’s gonna go off on Sunday.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes out and scores 50.

With all the things the media’s been saying about him, and everything on Twitter, I know he’s going to respond.

I know it.

And then all the other guys are going to fall into place. That’s how it works for us.

All odds favor the Warriors. They should win.

I just think LeBron puts up another unbelievable game and overwhelms them. I really think this is his moment, and he puts up something ridiculous like a 50 point triple double and the Cavs win.

I think the Warriors will go out to a double digit lead in the first quarter behind the supporting cast coming up big and making shots due to Curry/Thompson getting the ball taken out of their hands. LBJ and Kyrie(with help from Tristan Thompson getting hustle points) bring them back in the 2nd quarter and its less than a 5 pt game at half. Curry goes off for a big 3rd quarter and GS takes a 10-12 pt lead into the 4th. LBJ brings them back again with a big 4th but they have to play the foul game at the end and GS wins by 9. I think LBJ will have another 30/10/10 type game and Kyrie will have 20 plus but the supporting cast does not do as well on the road. Curry will have 40 plus and Thompson has 30.

I predict that the waiting is going to damn near kill me. I love game sevens. Regardless of the outcome, I am going to be sad that basketball is ending. I love the NBA, warts and all. The past two series between GS and OKC and GS and Cleveland have been great theater if not great basketball.

Well since its just a prediction which means jack shit, why not go with the dream for everyone. A last second shot wins it. Its either going to be LeBron from deep or Curry behind the arc to win it at the buzzer. I choose violence. And Steph Curry.

GSW: 106 Cleveland: 87

GSW goes into the half tied and blows it open in the third quarter with a barrage of three pointers. I think Klay and Steph get 30+ points each. LeBron will do LeBron things, probably get a triple double and 30 points. I don't think the Cleveland supporting role players will play well on a road game in the biggest game in NBA history. Wouldn't be surprised to see Frye overtake Love in minutes.

MVP: Stephen Curry

Everyone's going with GSW, so I'll be the contrarian. Iguadola's back isn't better; LBJ controls the game; Cavs win by double-digits; we find out afterwards that Curry really is going to have multiple surgeries during off-season.

This isn't the same GSW team that won 73 games.

This summarizes my thoughts pretty well, especially the part about Cleveland's role players not being able to provide what they did in Game 3 and 6. Only thing I'll add is that I reckon Barnes will make some key 3 pointers that will really deflate the Cavs.

This from a guy who has no horse -- I think Curry is the best right now and have never been a Bron fan -- but I'm in this "guaranteed LeBron excellence" camp. I have no idea how hurt or mentally tough Curry is right now but I know Bron is, as ever, 110% ready to go...

My gut says Cavs but that might just be my extreme fear/hate speaking. But I do think the vibe/momentum is pretty heavy in Cleveland's direction.

I don't know if I can take Peyton and LeBron getting a feel good ending in the same year. Only salvation: those good people in Cleveland getting their title.

Cleveland wins 104-102. LeBron with 35/15/10, 1TO. Kyrie with 35+points. Both combine for the last 20points for the Cavs to make a 15-5 run and turn it around. Then one of the Cavs (Delly / JR) will pose on the announcers table, chew on his mouthguard, get bowled down by beer cups and pose chewing again in front of the Warriors bench.

Either Klay or Curry will go cold for long parts of the game, Iggy will have problems with his back, Harrison Barnes will go icecold and the Cavs will just play some easy basketball (=less TOs, more rebs, more 2ps) to win it.

The Warriors (finally) are kicked in the nuts in their historically great 2year-run.
LeBron sees himself as the greatest NBA player, ever. Some agree and that discussion will always continue.
Cleveland (Cavs) fans are happy for a year.

If the refs let them play, I think Cleveland wins.

If they don't, it is Golden State's title to lose.
I think GS wins, but tight calls benefits CLE not GS. CLE drives to the hoop and GS being able to hack the arms without calls was big for them early in the series. GS is more perimeter focused less reliance on calls and drives.

The Warriors are broken. You can really see it at the other end. Just a complete breakdown on defense since Game 5. Golden State is the better team when healthy and rested, but that won't be the case tonight. Cavs win 102-93. Bill Russell hands Lebron the MVP award and he tells SoSH to suck it.

Fair point. I was mostly thinking about Cleveland forcing it as they are stronger and far more physical. I do think they can seize the moment if they have the space to do it.

Man...I have no idea. I can't call this. My head says Dubs by ten. My heart says Cavs by five.

But I'm rooting for LeBron James, because he's the greatest player ever and I'm sick of the media narratives. I love the Warriors, I was on their bandwagon here back when Mark Jackson was fucking up a free lunch. But they won last year and I'm just so fucking tired of listening to the talking heads claim that there's a new King. There will one day be a new King, but regardless of what happens in Game 7 it won't be today. He's played the greatest games of the greatest career against the greatest team and he's brought it to this. He's still The Guy. And he's the Finals MVP. He's locked that.

I think this plays out a lot like Game 7 against OKC. I think Cleveland comes out strong and it's a close game through 3 quarters but the Warriors make enough 3s in the second half to pull away and win by 7.

The voting here exactly aligns with the Vegas line. As of right now, 50.1% of SoSH has either Cavs winning or GS by 1-5 points.

So a one game sample size (Draymond was out in G5) is enough to convince you that the Warriors are broken?

To me the bigger problem is Iggy (is his back in better shape after flying cross country?) and Barnes (does he have any appetite for this type of stage?). If neither of them step up, then LeBron can impose his will on offense.

I think Draymond comes out with more energy at home, Steph/Klay hit 10+ threes combined, and the other role players (including the backup bigs) play better at home. That takes care of one side of the ball. So only an epic performance from LeBron+Kyrie keeps GS from capping off this two year run...

Go f*ck yourself
Warriors win it 112-108

I just want a close game from tip to final buzzer. We have not been afforded that yet in this series and it would be a splendid way to finish.

Is overtime asking for too much?

I'm pulling for Cleveland and Lebron, 52 years is a long time between championships. I don't see how the Warriors can stop LeBron at this point, he's clearly taken his game to another level.

Going to be epic regardless of the result................
