So, lost in the brawl is the David Price situation where he left the game with "sensations" in his pitching hand. Right from the first pitch he didn't seem right. He did get a bit squeezed by the umps, but also couldn't hit the broad side of the barn. The cutter to Sanchez, which JD is still looking for, was an absolute meatball. Cora is saying that he's fine. No MRI scheduled and he'll try to play some toss on Thursday.
So what do we make of this situation; was something actually going on in Price's hand or were the "sensations" a face saving excuse for a guy who had no feel for the ball on a cold night and stunk up the park? At least it's nothing to do with the elbow, so there's that.

David Price will attempt to play catch when he gets to Fenway Park on Thursday. At this point, the Red Sox believe he will be fine. No further tests (MRI, etc.) are scheduled, according to manager Alex Cora.
