43 2/3 scoreless innings in a row and counting (it doesn't count but it should be noted that Trout did score off of him during the AS game). You really need to read that new Molly Knight book. Dude is insane with his prep.mikeford said:Zach Greinke is insane and is definitely going to be a free agent after the year if he doesn't blow his arm out in the next 2 months.

MLB Network showed it live. Pretty scary for a minute. Fernandez was pretty upset he hit him. Fortunately he got the head turned in time and the helmet took it. Could have been much worse.canderson said:Yikes, David Peralta was hit in the head (helmet, in the earhole) by a Jose Fernandez fastball. He thankfully got up on his own and walked off under his own power.
Yeah. They're out of the inning if he doesn't bobble that ballBob Montgomery's Helmet Hat said:Pederson's error was brutal and costly.

I posted that in the first inning, but he's got pretty lousy road numbers this year, also lefties have been killing him. Do you think any other team would take on his contract right now? It's questionable at least.MakMan44 said:?? He's been fine, outside of that one pitch.
You're right, his numbers against LHH are troubling. His road FIP/xFIP do indicate that his crappy ERA is high though, he's been pitching about the same on the road, he's just not getting lucky.jon abbey said:I posted that in the first inning, but he's got pretty lousy road numbers this year, also lefties have been killing him. Not sure about the contract though, but given the choice of the 3 contracts, I'd probably take on Shields over Verlander & CC.
Wow. That's a huge loss for The Organization.canderson said:Matt Holliday tore his quad, out for season.
I hear Allen Craig can play left, they can have Kelly for free as well.canderson said:Matt Holliday tore his quad, out for season.
