Glad to see Markovic in the front 3. Much more productive there than as a wingback.

I only saw the last 30 minutes or so but thought Liverpool were great, even if the result was a little disappointing.

Coutinho has been really impressive. Other times I've watched him, he has seemed to shrink and disappear in bigger matches, especially against teams that got physical with him. But he's been battling out there (against Ivanovic no less) and clearly has the talent to produce moments of magic in situations where few players can. He still seems to do stupid shit a couple times a match, usually involving trying to dribble through three players in the midfield area when there is an easy pass that will accomplish the same thing, but you'd think that his decision making in those spots would improve with age.
What was Sakho thinking with that pass?
I think Oscar could have gotten one more barrel roll out of that before it was complete absurd as opposed to just comical.

Someone explain to me how Costa's repeated flagrant attempts to injure opponents isn't worse than Suarez's biting.
Sakho fake hurt after his brain fart. I'd rather play with 10 than have Johnson on the field. Waste of a sub and a waste of a player. Time for back-passes from attacking areas.

Dismissing too much as clumsy challenges is to ignore the guy's talent. His ability and body control allowed him to score some incredible goals. You'd have to assume he randomly loses that when he lands on a guy's foot in a situation that, if not intentional, would be just as likely to turn his ankle.

Two injury subs for Chelsea. Their front players are going to be tired if this thing goes 120 minutes.
If this goes to overtime, complete with two Chelsea injuries, that's a decent advantage for City come Saturday
