Check the "Stay Logged In" checkbox next to the login button.

Everyone who's having problems logging in, can you clear your cookies and then try again and see if the problem remains?

I see one issue, if someone has a long post and you quote them, it kind of "condenses" the post and you wont see the whole post of the user you are quoting

Unless you click on the bottom of the quote box, where the text appears to fade away, and the whole post appears.

We again apologize for some of you not being able to have the access to which you are accustomed.

SumnerH and Nip are doing yeoman's work on this, and a lot of that involves going and finding the damned stuff that needs changing. Thank you for your patience, but in the end, everything should be better and faster than it was before.

Now that my username no longer appears on a single line of text - and looks positively goofy - is it possible for me to change it to "Conigliaro's Potential", or is that sort of thing frowned upon? (TBH that's what I always wanted it to be anyway, but when I joined the site for some reason all of my attempts to use apostrophes failed.)

I'm rather lost - in life, never mind on the internet - at the moment without the SoSH access to which I'm accustomed, but I'm just about managing to be grown up about it. Really looking forward to seeing what the final version of the new site looks like.

Thank you for your efforts. As far as the avatars, I agree that the default size was too large, but I think that the size has become pretty small right now. I think the default size was 200x200 and now the images are 48x48. Even on the old board it was 60x60. Even that size I thought was a tad small, because oftentimes you couldn't tell what was on the avatar. Can we try something like 80x80? I know most people have larger screens, but I have a 19 inch monitor with 1360x768 and I have to zoom out the page because the letters are too big and this exacerbates it.

As you all may be able to guess, this is Wingack. I can't sign in at all under my former forum name. Every time I log in I get a 500 Internal Service Error. Doesn't matter if I clear out my history and caches or what computer or device I am using. Is there anyone else having this problem? Is there anyone that can help me fix it?

As passle, I can't see Other Crap either. mostman can and is a "Premium Member", where passle and I are "Members". I guess that's the distinction and that it'll be patched in the fullness of time. Hate that I might have to work with P&G unavailable, but I'm patient
