This is good, I have been calling him Romulus inside my head but Hail Caesar is a cheer that can stick.
Don't know what TiltValue is, but Yordanny boy is 18% greater than #2, and from him to #4 is more than #4 to the end of the screenshot list. I'll bet it's lonely living out on the Gaussian tail.YORDANNY is #1 of over 700 people...

I hope TiltValue doesn’t have anything to do with trading for Brasier!Don't know what TiltValue is, but Yordanny boy is 18% greater than #2, and from him to #4 is more than #4 to the end of the screenshot list. I'll bet it's lonely living out on the Gaussian tail.
Batista no hit watch...LUIS DE LA ROSA is pitching today, too. Exciting times.
Gilberto Batista pitched a no hitter (for 4 innings) last time out

Batista pitched 4 scoreless innings, 3 hits, 0 walks, 1 strikeout.RIP the streak. On the positive side...6 straight scoreless innings!
The DSL Dodgers are 25-6. Probably a hard team to no-hit.
This made me chuckleThe following media includes potentially sensitive content.
Yeah, I'm not sure why they do that to all Sam's videos. It's that fringe FCL content. This made me chuckle
After Yizreel a wild Connor Butler appeared. I say that because he walks a lot of people (12 in 8.2 innings coming into today). After ELVIS a wild Yizreel Burnet appeared.
I say wild because I was unfamiliar with his work. He was originally signed out of Willemstad, Curacao in January '21 for $125k.
He was shut down after 17 innings due to injury in '21 & after a late start to '22 was shut down again after only 7 innings.
He pitched for the 1st time this season today, & his 1st time in FCL, and had a 1-2-3 inning.
If you click through to this SoxProspects link, his arm looks incredibly long...

Geiser Figueroa added 3 scoreless (& hitless) innings to that, with 2 walks & 2 strikeouts, & lowering his ERA to 4.90 in 22 innings.Batista pitched 4 scoreless innings, 3 hits, 0 walks, 1 strikeout.
That's 8 straight scoreless innings.
He was a notable omission from my last rankings.DSL Blue - Geiser turned 17 in March. He was signed as an IFA, also from Santa Domingo, also in January '23, for $55k. He's listed at 6'4 170. He has a 4.09 ERA in his 1st 11 innings.
I hope so but his K and walk %’s leave a lot to be desired. Not confident his approach at the plate will ever make him Mookie-ish at the plate. It’s a massive hole in his otherwise stellar game. The game day threads are great - thanks again JM3 - but we've forgotten the main minor league thread a bit. I think it's worth a C note post because he's now reached the 100 AB mark in AAA, a pretty good place to reassess him, and he's playing better than ever: OPS almost 1.0, BA well over .300, good power and, of course, defense and speed. And he's still a bit young for AAA (almost 23 now). I think a Mookie-lite starter in the bigs is still on the table, and more possible than ever now
As a Greenville SC resident who is looking forward to watching him in the playoffs, I respectfully request that you go to hell. ;-)Every now and then a prospect comes along who just has it. I can’t believe I’m going to argue for this, but I think Roman Anthony should be promoted again. I know, I know. Only 110 or so AB in high-A, where he’s apparently the youngest player by six months. But he’s destroying the league. .304/.443/.679 with 10 dongs. Apparently all the underlying metrics are outstanding. Strap a rocket to this kid.
I get all that, but I also agree with Mo (fellow Norwalk CT native) that this guy seems different and we need to find out how he continues to handle higher levels. I believe Portland is slated for the postseason also. I mean, a cup of coffee in Portland over the last month, a half year there to start ‘24 before moving to Worcester. Dude could, and I do mean could, be our starting RF in 2025. He could also struggle in Portland which would be fine because he’s only 20.As a Greenville SC resident who is looking forward to watching him in the playoffs, I respectfully request that you go to hell. ;-)
Seriously, though, I don’t see the rush to jump him again at age 19, and I think there’s value in letting him experience some playoff baseball at a level where’s he’s clearly comfortable and enjoying success.
