Everybody in the entire league since nobody is giving up a haul to pay him 1 year and 30 million.Who currently has the slate of prospects/assets for a Mookie trade?
Except there's plenty of precedent to the contrary.Everybody in the entire league since nobody is giving up a haul to pay him 1 year and 30 million.
Reymond Fuentes, Anthony Rizzo and Casey Kelly for Adrian Gonzalez?Forget plenty of precedent, give me one example of a trade for one year of team control at that salary.
As pointed out, Gonzalez was cheap as shit. Plus they had a reasonable expectation that they could extend him, and did so.Reymond Fuentes, Anthony Rizzo and Casey Kelly for Adrian Gonzalez?
Dodgers and Braves make the most sense in that order. Dodgers because they know they can write the check to keep him. Verdugo and May probably wouldn’t kill them as deep as they are.Who currently has the slate of prospects/assets for a Mookie trade?
The Braves could pay him, too. They have a new ballpark and a ton of payroll room.Dodgers and Braves make the most sense in that order. Dodgers because they know they can write the check to keep him. Verdugo and May probably wouldn’t kill them as deep as they are.
Contrary to the Sox payroll. 2018 was marvelous as were all 3 previous championships; however, it’s time to rebuild, go under all tax limits and get prospects. It would be un-popular, but every one that has trade value, should be made available(Mookie, JD, JBJ, Price, Eovaldi and Workman). Devers and X should stay and in 2-4 years you build around them with a young core and selected free agents. I know it would be extremely difficult to find a team for Sale, but if he proves healthy, he should also go.The Braves could pay him, too. They have a new ballpark and a ton of payroll room.
For all the positions or right field?Mookie won the AL Gold Glove.
