What was the older Knick fan saying? "We want....?"
probably Mudiay. Because it is such a Knick fan pick. Flashy high school kid, skips college, sucks in a bad league. But they like him better than the kid who played in the 2nd best league in the world and played well.

Porzingis is NOT Frederic Weis. This kid has it all and the work ethic to make it big.

He can pop up and shoot from anywhere, but was he really the BPA at #4? Can the Knicks risk a bust with a Eurodude?

This might be right, but I don't think other fan bases realize how long it's been since NY has had even a league average PG. Mark Jackson really briefly when he was Rookie of the Year? Sugar Ray Richardson? Clyde Frazier? I wanted Mudiay.

He's no more of a risk than anyone left on the board. It isn't like he played in some crap league, the ACB is probably better than college ball.

Best player today or best player in 5 years? The draft isn't about today but at the end of the day if he ends up 2nd best it wouldn't shock me. He's in the top tier behind Towns for sure.

The Knicks already have Bargnani and Aldrich, how big white guys do they need?

Not that something this dumb is really worth answering, but neither of those guys are under contract or probably coming back.

Wow, Denver getting Mudiay is a surprise.  So Detroit wins the draft by having Winslow slide to them?

If Winslow somehow gets past Detriot, Danny should overpay to get to #9 if it's an option.

Sadly Phil and the Knicks plan to ruin Porzingis, will not trade.

what position does Winslow play? he and smart and bradley would be a defensive dream and they'd never score

SF. Of course if you want the all-D squad you stay at 16 and take Rondae Hollis-Jefferson who is the best wing defender in the draft.

He's an ideal 3 in todays game with so many 3-guard lineups. This kid is really really tough and headstrong. Great pick for Detroit.....assuming they select him.

So I was never a giant Winslow fan, but I would LOVE to get him at #9.  I would also rather have him over Stanley Johnson.

Does Charlotte make that Batum trade if they knew Winslow would be there at 9?
yes.
Winslow isn't going to step in and play anyywhere near Batum's level as a rookie. Charlotte wants to make a playoff push next year.

Stanley Johnson is a bust. no one disappeared more in games than him. Russell was second amongst those college lottery picks
