Couldn’t get to the guy with the ball. Dumb defensive set-up.How did they not foul?!?!
Like I said, UCLA controls OT and wins right?Alabama wins by 6 or 8 in OT, right?
UCLA was a horrible matchup and completely threw off their style of play.Bama is a trash team. How are they a 2 seed?
UCLA wasn’t making them miss FTs. 11-25 is laughably bad. They choked. I’m not impressed with this team at all.UCLA was a horrible matchup and completely threw off their style of play.
Oh yea that’s horrendous for sure.UCLA wasn’t making them miss FTs. 11-25 is laughably bad. They choked. I’m not impressed with this team at all.
they're very physical, very good on D, led the NCAA on 3PT, and beat up on the weak SECBama is a trash team. How are they a 2 seed?
Couldn’t get many key stops down the stretch. Guess they just picked a bad time to lay an egg.they're very physical, very good on D, led the NCAA on 3PT, and beat up on the weak SEC
11-25 from the line, that's strait up butchery.Has anyone on Alabama ever shot a free throw before today?
FWIW they shot 72% for the season. Bad time to shoot poorly.UCLA wasn’t making them miss FTs. 11-25 is laughably bad. They choked. I’m not impressed with this team at all.
Ouch. They collectively shot a Chris Dudley when it mattered most. That’ll sting. Good for UCLA. Love seeing teams deal with back breaker and pick themselves up and close things out.FWIW they shot 72% for the season. Bad toke to shoot poorly.
Alabama has a guy that transferred from Yale (Jordan Bruner) , so maybe there is truth to that!Ouch. They collectively shot a Chris Dudley when it mattered most. That’ll sting.
How do you lead the NCAA in 3 point accuracy and shoot free throws that badly in a big game?they're very physical, very good on D, led the NCAA on 3PT, and beat up on the weak SEC
Not accuracy, volumeHow do you lead the NCAA in 3 point accuracy and shoot free throws that badly in a big game?
I think this is a combination of post-season defensive intensity with hard close outs, lack of pace resulting in halfcourt sets against post-season defensive intensity.......and the horrific shooting background and sight lines at these venues. We saw similar perimeter shooting problems at Bankers Life during the Big-10 tournament.4 games yesterday. 2 of them went WAY under. 1 went pretty easily under.(double digits) And 1 went under by a few points.
All 8 teams shot 22% from 3 for the entire day. It seemed like every team was playing unbelievably tenacious defense. Which means tough shots and missed shots in the 2nd half because teams were tired.
NIGHT being the operative word. Here is a reminder that that the first two Elite Eight games (Houston v Oregon State and Arkansas v Baylor) are TONIGHT.
And your least favorite? Mine is being able to call time out when you're saving a ball from going out of bounds and you're allowed to do it mid-air.That rolling the ball BS is my 2nd least favorite part of college basketball.

Just wait until tonight and tomorrow when the games go to Lucas.I think this is a combination of post-season defensive intensity with hard close outs, lack of pace resulting in halfcourt sets against post-season defensive intensity.......and the horrific shooting background and sight lines at these venues. I’m confused. You don’t get CBS with your full cable subscription?Do I have this right? Even with a full cable subscription there's no way to watch the game on a Roku TV without subscribing to Paramount+? This despite the fact that it's available free over the air?
Sorry wasn't clear. I've got a TV in my basement gym without a cable box. I generally can get most channels especially sports by signing into the app with my cable credentials. But seems not for CBS games now that Paramount+ is out.I’m confused. You don’t get CBS with your full cable subscription?
There’s a March Maadness app on the Apple TV. It’s not available on Roku?Sorry wasn't clear. I've got a TV in my basement gym without a cable box. Apparently I can watch it on a Chromecast (but not Roku) with the March Madness App because they makes sense! There’s a March Maadness app on the Apple TV. It’s not available on Roku?
EDIT: Never mind, I see now that the app only includes the games on cable, not on CBS.
Not just the defense. I haven't seen a rebounding differential this extreme without one team being 6 inches taller at every position.Houston’s defense is insane.
Silva is one of the worst 7-1, 260 lb rebounders I've ever seenNot just the defense. I haven't seen a rebounding differential this extreme without one team being 6 inches taller at every position.
