Well I’m not arguing with the results of the throw. It had good touch but if he throws it more to the outside I feel like it’s an easy catch? It looked like it went more to the back shoulder that almost allowed the defender to break it up. Maybe I’m looking at it wrong.
Zap had the whole corner of the end zone open and could've led Henry more, at least that's what I saw. Still a TD.
Some of us were advocating for just that. Look, Zappe’s not great but anyone with eyes can see that he’s much better than Mac.
We just need to hope it's something he can come back from 100 percent, and look at it as an opportunity to get reps for somebody else this year. (Hopefully a young guy, but not sure who is replacing him.)
I think Zappe and Mac are probably equals in terms of ability, but Mac just had all his confidence destroyed by the season and the team didn't belive in him anymore.
Besides Ryland and maybe Schooler, this whole team is playing like SACK state today.
