Where can one listen to this game? I found a TV feed on a cable French channel but nothing in English (we don't get the MLBN on our local cable package - despite complaining for a year)

It doesn't appear to be on ESPN radio either ..

May I join in offering a hearty FU to the baseball industry shitheads-that-be who kept the Giants-Nats game off an accessible network.

Be interesting to see if they try to work something out long term with Belt. He was super 2 this year but they avoided arb. He's a guy I'd be comfortable committing to through a couple FA years.

Dolla bills, yo, get in the way of accessibility. What cable provider do you use?

He is a smooth fielder too, but of course, as soon as I look him up on Fangraphs, they have him as a minus fielder. No way.

You don't get MLBN? That's too bad, b/c they pick up and broadcast all over the country lots of regional games all season long that you can't see w/o extra innings or mlb.tv. Apparently, if you have the more expensive version of mlb.tv, you can watch the games live using that.

Telus BC. Wall-to-wall pay-per-view, except for sports like baseball.

I thought I did, but I'd rather complain to God (and the board) than pay them another cent for a separate "playoff package".

No idea .. my French is sadly under utilized.

What channel number are you using? I get TVA on 2006, but there's no baseball, just TVA nouvelles, Le tricheur, Vol 920 and Toute la verite...

Yeah I looked that up too. Does Fangraphs do a positional adjustment or something? Because he is at least a neutral 1B to my eye. FWIW Tango's fan scouting report grades him solidly above average.

It appears to be the TVA sports channel .. TVASH .. Channel 768 on Eastlink cable in Halifax if that's any help .. Which it probably isn't as you are 5000 miles away

I'm not one to ask about that. Tango got it right. He reminds people of JT Snow around here, who also gets minuses from Fangraphs. George Scott too. I give up.

Vasgersian is terrible. He never says anything that makes you think, gee never thought of that. Fact, only Eck is doing that this postseason. Pedro, of course, after games on TBS.

BTW, I hope everyone saw that sweet Panda dive.  Guy definitely turns it up a notch for the post-season.

Random question. Let's say Harper actually did trap that ball. How would the umpires sort that play on video review? Would the batter just get 1st and they keep Belt at 2nd?

I believe so .. It's up to the umps to place the base runners where they think they would have ended up.
