gloria estafan is one of the keys to the game? what?

also, Giants fans, how much of the season has Pagan missed? i liked him in the ws.
They are not exactly courting the young audience that is not tuning in.  TBS has highlights with AC/DC.  It's not exactly rocket science with how MLB can get a younger audience to tune in but they are MAKING IT ROCKET SCIENCE.

Not a Giants fan (but most of my friends are), Pagan missed a month and a half in the summer, came back and got hurt mid-Sept.  They def miss him, Blanco is hollow.

I'm completely rooting for the Dodgers now.  Can't stand Buck Doubleday.  Can't completely enjoy the Royals, maybe it's Yost and Moore.  Can't stand the Cardinals.  The Giants and their fans have become obnoxious with their presumption that their 88 win team should, of course, run the table.  Don't want anything in the District of Corruption to win anything.  I really like Puig.  I like Hanley.  I like Greinke.  I like Uribe.  I like Vin Scully.

Go Dodgers!

Crawford vs. Lackey -- such conflicting feelings.  Whom do I wish to fail more?  :unsure2:

Lackey helped them win a World Series. This is easy

Correct. Even though Lackey got the chance and Crawford didn't, there was no way Crawford was going to beat Verlander and then have two quality games in the WS. No frigging way.

True, but he was around for a lot longer, and was even worse than Crawford, who was mediocre then injured then gone. Lackey and loathing go together so well.

Plus there is the whole "no comment" on whether he would play out his mutually agreed contract next year while with the sox, then before the ink was dry on his trade paperwork "of course I will play next year under my current contract - why wouldn't I?".

Lackey pitched through an injury for a whole year before coming back after TJ in 2013 and becoming an integral part of a World Series winning team.

Crawford signed a huge contract, sucked asshole, got traded, and proceeded to talk shit about how awful Boston was to him.

I'd shake John Lackey's hand and thank him if we ever met in person. With Crawford, I'd be fighting the urge to tell him to go screw himself.
