One of the reasons I like watching pitchers hit is the surprise factor when they come through

I'd like to point out Harold Reynolds repeatedly argued the point Miller, after being up 0-2, unintentionally intentionally walked Ellis so he could have an auto out with Kershaw. Because he was scared of Ellis.

Was Don Mattingly too busy renewing his wife's methadone prescription on line to challenge the call?

I think Verducci is pretty good. I mostly have Don & Jerry to compare him to, but I think he does a good job and is knowledgable.
