This thread is making me dizzy and feels like bad karma and is destined for a loss.

Prove me wrong with a 10 game heater.

I keep trying to turn my iPad upside down but then everything rotates and it is still upside down

You can't read upside down? Huh. Do I have some unusual gift over here?
I can with a minor amount of effort that I am unwilling to put in. About the same level of effort as turning off rotate, so I am choosing to do neither at the moment. I likely will find motivation later in the day, but it is looking like a game time decision.

That's a great point!

Feast your eyes on this lineup per gameday.

Reverse lock if I've ever seen one. Abreu and Valdez are breaking out. Hamilton steals fives. Pablo breaks his other hand on another liner.

I am watching the Braves and Mets this afternoon, and it makes me a little less disgusted at the Red Sox' recent defensive atrocities, as Atlanta (who is usually pretty good at baseball) has misplayed at least 4 balls in play today to gift the Mets at least 4 free runs, and the Mets (who are not usually that good at baseball) are currently woodshedding the Braves 10-3 in the 7th.

Atlanta's bad day does nothing to improve the garbage plays we have been making. It just reinforces the idea that every team has some garbage games, even really good teams, so maybe the Red Sox defense will improve?

Or maybe it's just me and whatever game I watch will turn into a crime against good baseball. Maybe I will watch the MFY tonight instead of the Red Sox?

Nope, it's not you. I'm watching the Braves game and thinking the same thing. Every team has shitty games. It's the teams that limit them that make the playoffs.

I have been watching that game, and I was really struck by how well the low-velocity Quintana was doing against the Braves.
He did give up three runs in 5.1 innings, but I was amazed that the Braves didn't do more with his 94 mph stuff. I guess they are having a bad day, as it's now 12-3. p.s. I wish O'B and Millar would listen to this booth and do everything that they do. I have the sound off now, but earlier I was again impressed by Hernandez's analysis, and Cohen is a perfect pbp guy.

Not to defend DOB (who I don't like), but there's probably 27 or more fanbases in baseball who wish their broadcast could be as good as the Mets broadcast team. They are really good.

The Braves broadcasts are much better than they used to be when Caray v3.0 was in the booth. He tried to fill up every space with his voice and said nothing interesting. Francoeur has improved tremendously as the color guy too.

The Angels, Royals and Pirates have beaten the O’s (Pirates twice) in the early going. No way the Sox get swept. Is swing from the (bleeeep) Raffy getting a day, or is he hurt?

I wonder if they'll have the results of Romy G's X-rays tonight. Short-stop is moving into Cursed territory.
Geaux, Sox, anyway. Take mlbn by surprise! (They are So in Love with the Os.)

The Red Sox have been on MLBN more so far this year than probably ever through this many games. No idea why. Maybe they are soon to be ignored like the A’s or the Rockies.
