Fwiw all hedge funds have investment committees and a collaborative approach in theory but someone has final say and how much of a committee it is depends entirely on the leader.
If Brett Brown has final say but there is a good GM crew to do the work it's a better set up than many coach gm roles.
I still hate it and I hate the lack of interviews but I think they want a no brainer name. This is they want theo for the Cubs type deal. That's dumb but I am pro not hiring a guy who is worse than the current brain trust lol.
