What a dumb rule. These guys parse rules likes it's the Supreme Court. Just use common sense.
I heard discussion of this on radio that made sense. The problem is replay. Once you have replay you need objective rules. Once you have objective rules and eight cameras you have put yourself in a box.I don’t even...what is the point of replay? Like, what are we doing here?
Just play it once at full speed and have a panel of five hit a button with their first impression.I heard discussion of this on radio that made sense. The problem is replay. Imagine they said you could replay pass interference? You'd need to invent objective criteria so that replay would have work to do. And it would be absurd.
The only solution is to make catch/no catch a judgment call. Even if you change the going to ground rule or any other aspect of catch no catch you put yourself right back in another box. Just let refs call it like they see it and save replay for only whether it hit the ground, out of bounds -- actual objective stuff -- instead of writing objective rules for a judgment.
If only they had a stud RB to ram it in...nice pick, Butler
Shit, that would be halfway decent TV.Just play it once at full speed and have a panel of five hit a button with their first impression.
At least one more. Are you fucking kidding me? How many fucking first downs are you going to give them??

Give it a cool game show countdown song.Shit, that would be halfway decent TV.
How dare you accuse the Seahawks of any kind of injury shenanigans? The nerve.Nice concussion check, indeed.
Sounding like a torn Achilles. He's done for the night, but they wouldn't let him walk around on it if it were really bad, right?
It's only the 3rd quarter...Couple of first downs and Seattle can try to just put this shit show behind them.
Jesus, that's embarrassing... This game is taking forever. It's only the 3rd quarter...
Sounds like a partial tear? If so I’d imagine he’s done for the year. He's done for the night, but they wouldn't let him walk around on it if it were really bad, right?
Neither did I. He might be the best semi-healthy QB in the organization right now.Huh. Byron Leftwich in the Cardinals QB coach. I did not know that.
