in fairness to the pats, they probably outsourced that to some social consulting marketing firm or whatever that was running something automated on their account, since it was replying to everyone that tweeted back or whatever. doesn't make up for the fuck up, of course.

Miami has gotten every call this game. But Buffalo is not letting Orton do anything. Maybe he can't. But their offense is predicated on being second or third and short. They don't seem to have a playbook designed to get 15 yards on one play

Landry is a good player, despite the fumble

Miami down two of its six CBs. bodes well for the game at Denver

they're throwing chiefs/raiders on this game next week?

is the purpose of tnf to basically say "fuck you, we're the nfl, we're going to televise a shitty regional bottom-feeder throwaway 1pm sunday game on thursday night because we damn well know you're going to tune in because... hey, football!"

Yeah, I thought that was pretty obvious.

thought it was something in the cba that requires or limits the number of night games per period of time, forcing them to have to move these teams to night games every now and then. so they put them on here.

Yup, MNF and TNF have basically only been given crap games for a long time now (or at least that's what it feels like)

Remember when Schwartz got carried off the field in Detroit earlier this year? Yah, that was awesome and pretty much the end of the bills season

Buffalos defense must be pissed at their offense. Those last two series Orton looked like he was doing an interpretive dance and throwing the ball to the most artistic field location. Often with no receivers nearby

I mean, I get the sentiment, but he's been really good this year---his 16 game pace is 4200 yards 27 TD with 8 INT with a 93.5 rating.

I actually meant that, to some degree anyway, in a literal and superficial way - typed up as I watched him on the sideline at a not so great moment. He just looked, on and off the field, less than inspiring. And how many damn throws were behind guys? It was crazy. Bad, bad job by him, season stats be damned.

EDIT: map from 506sports.com
That "Boston area" is probably half the population of New England. I guess leftovers from when the Giants were New England's team? Certainly explains western MA and CT, not sure about the northern parts.

I used to love it when the Fox stations in Providence and Boston showed different games, and I was able to get the analog signal of channel 25 in southern RI.
