That’s a catch/touchdown.

How can they call for a review without a coach’s challenge if it was called incomplete on the field? And was that called incomplete based on a shadow review?

Hard to follow the mechanics of this.

Incomplete, by the time he reestablishes control the left foot is off the gorund, then comes down out of bounds

Its not just that Purdy sees the field much better than JG -- he also throws a nice ball, is not prone to the stupid mistake, is more mobile, and much more likable. And he's Mr. Irrelevant.

So they’re fudging the fact that there was an official review of a non-scoring/change of possession play outside of two minutes.

Already ready for when this scenario pops up for a team that doesn’t have challenges left.

Ok, so that is completely fucked. I mean I think they got it right but the whole “call on the field” and expedited eye in the sky expedited review system is crazy.

Call on field is TD but reversed by expedited review and then they say call on the field “stands”?

They are already flirting with giving the appearance they just do whatever the league wants and there is getting less and less reason to think otherwise.

oh man, Geno just threw a pick because he thought he had a free play, Ref missed a pretty blatant offsides so the pick stands

Mac Jones must stay up at night thinking about what might have been if Shanahan hadn't lost the argument on picking him over Lance.
