You think the NFL refs want the Niners to win the game?  I'm all for thinking refs suck at their jobs but this is a bridge too far for me.

Fumble that was called down but not reviewable because of forward progress ruling after the fact. PF call on the punt that was ridiculously ticky tacky. Maybe they don't want SF to win but you can't tell me the game is being evenly called

No, he shouldn't underthrow it in that situation. Put it where only Crabtree would have a play on it.

The blatantly missed PI call against Crabs on the Seattle 15 or 20 was a pretty huge non-call.

I don't think focus has anything to do with that. It wasn't a great pass but the DB did make a real nice play on the ball. If anything Crabtree needs to knock it down.

To my eyes, watching full-speed replay of today's it's not 100% clear to me whether the nose tackle touched him or not---watching the Gronk play it is absolutely 100% clear that he was blatantly interfered with even at full speed.  But to each their own---debating the relative atrociousness of NFL refereeing is kind of a low value debate, in the end...they are bad, far too often, and in far too many ways.

But they reversed the call and you needed indisputable evidence to reverse it. But it wasn't indisputable. And if you really had to make a guess, the guess was that the nose tackle did get a hand on his ankle. It was a horrible reversal, basically ignoring the rules of the replay system.

Not really. Seattle needed to let them score on that play. Now, I expect Harbaugh to run the clock down to 0:40 or so.

Threw it in middle of field into triple coverage, and to a receiver who was coming back to the ball (not someone breaking behind defense). Basically only scenario that works is a DPI.   You had a little time (obviously not much) on that 'drive' far better to run two 15 yard sideline plays and throw to the end zone.  Even if he catches it you lose.  Odds are that is intercepted or incomplete and you've wasted additional time.  Better to throw to that receiver early (while he's still breaking towards end zone) or throw away, I think.  And a better play is deep early or sideline.
 
While DPI is always possible, it's least likely when three guys are on a guy coming back to the play---because they have an equal right to the ball.  If that throw was 'creating a chance of DPI' then literally every long throw is a good idea for that reason.
