I think it’s time to bench Purdy; you just can’t leave a guy out there with this kind performance—go with who gives you the best chance to win each and every game. Period.

See I feel like CMC is still otherworldly without Brock Purdy. I’m not sure Purdy is putting up the same numbers without CMC, so how can there really be any doubt about MVP?

This is sarcasm? I have too much respect for you to think this is a serious post.
GOOD!!!

:wooper: :D :wooper:

I appreciate it, by the way—and you have me really intrigued to see how he reacts now; I’m that much more interested in the second half.

This is a thread of people who haven’t watched Niners games this year. These are some bad luck bounces for Purdy. He doesn’t crumble. Niners will win this and he’ll excel in the second half.
It’s going to blow your mind when somebody shows you the Sunday Ticket…

While I agree in a vacuum. If you ask any niners fan would they rather start a playoff game with Jordon Mason at RB or Darnold at QB, 100 percent would take Purdy and Mason over Darnold and CMC.

That short pass maybe around behind the line of scrimmage that Purdy through to him running in the middle of a whole pack of guys on both teams is one of the more nuts plays I can remember seeing. Couldn’t believe he threw it, and then couldn’t believe it worked.

Fair counter. But allow me to propose a twist. Late in the game, who do you want handling the ball? 4th and say 2, you’re looking at CMC as your top option one way or another.

Yeah, they definitely became best friends on that play. Crazy mind meld.

Deebo has excelled in that role in big games in the past in the CMC role. It's a nice problem to have.

Absolutely putting the ball in CMC’s hands. But rather the other team think there’s a chance of a throw, which only is a threat with Purdy.

It’s close.

Maybe that's the rule, but it's a terrible call since the returner was running full speed back onto the field of play.

Did they just use the formation that Harbaugh whined about when the Pats did it in the AFCCG that led to Deflategate?
