Looked like Allen had his choice of two receivers to get the 1st.Huge first down for Buffalo
Steve, brilliant soft zone calls.Looked like Allen had his choice of two receivers to get the 1st.
If we had been in contention this game would have been infuriating.I've been walking the 'rooting for them to win, hoping to lose' tightrope for weeks, but this game is challenging.
3, until Pats beat Jets next week.Does Cards win mean Pats are #2?
I thought WSH and NE were tied SOS, so Pats had pick over them.Washington still so I think 3
I am sincerely respectful of your many cogent and insightful comments on this board. You are truly one of the posters I seek out for informative outlooks on any variety of topics. I just think you are wrong on this based on my 40 years of officiating at the HS, collegiate and minor league pro football. Believe me, my studying the NFL rulebook and mechanics manual was harder than prepping for the LSATs. I am probably too much of an officiating apologist but I know how hard it is, how fast it is, and these folks doing it have earned their way there, are scrutinized intensely and are turned over more frequently than most folks realize. I certainly do not wish to insult @DennyDoyle'sBoil who I hold in very high regard.Lol — you clearly have me confused with someone else. I am always wrong, but speak with certainty.
No, Matty P was busy letting the Cards drive the field.Feels like MattyP returned to run the D on this drive.
He was too busy helping the Cards beat the Eagles.Feels like MattyP returned to run the D on this drive.

I will happily defer in this case, and be happy to have learned something. It’s funny because I generally do give the benefit of the doubt to refs and was, in fact, like the only guy here defending Allen last night.I am sincerely respectful of your many cogent and insightful comments on this board. No team plays a drop zone on that situation. It makes no sense. If they beat you over the top. Fine. To drop 10 yards off means you are either situationally idiotic or losing on purpose
Whatever. Happy the lost ultimately .
I keep getting it backwards. Our crappy SOS has us ahead of AZ and tied with the CommiesI thought WSH and NE were tied SOS, so Pats had pick over them.
So, that’s either a tank on that last drive or really stupid coaching. Can’t decide. The defense deserved better and that includes the defensive play calling on this drive.
It's consistent with how the D has been directed in previous seasons. I mentioned MattyP, but the one consistent element is BB. Does this mean that Brian Flores was bold enough to disregard what BB preferred? So, that’s either a tank on that last drive or really stupid coaching. Can’t decide.
