The dolphins d is average and the pats haven’t been made it into the red zone yet at half. They have no above average players on offense. Stevenson is the closest but not much he can do with this line. I can’t even really blame Mac with the garbage he has around him. Do I think he is good? Not really but can’t put any of this on him.
One thing that could help them is that Tua will give the defense a chance. He always does, even when he plays super well. Gotta capitalize.
It is almost like they had a rookie QB in one of those years, and a DC and ST Coach coaching the offense in the other. That’s how bad it sounds.
Miami is gonna score, especially when you’re short handed at DB. Can’t put up a 3 spot with a turnover in a half against them.

Reggie and the boys used to get cut. Now they're a huge part of the offense. Having a near 50/50 split between Zeke and one of the best, most explosive young RBs in the game is criminal.
To some extent, agree. Parker dropped an easy first down that cost the Pats 4 points. I'm sure I'll be told tomorrow how I'm being too hard on him and how difficult it was to catch that pass, blah, blah,....
We both said this, but I wonder why only boos can "rain down"? You never hear about a round of applause raining down.
The Dolphins D looked suspect last week but they were facing Justin Herbert. Big difference. Also, Ramsey is hurt.

I think their throwback unis are clearly in the top 3 bright spots tonight. However even having Pat as an extra O line man isn't helping giving Mac time to throw long.
He was literally the #1 WR for the team that won the SB last year (a game in which he led the team in targets) and most experts listed him as the best WR available in FA this summer... he's not a fringe NFL player in any aspect.

I was making an unsafe assumption. But they were moving the ball that drive despite a marginal penalty call against them. Parker still should have caught that pass; tired of making excuses for the WR talent.

They are moving the ball, but that's kind of the issue with doing it 5 yards at a time. A penalty or a drop kill you.

The Patriots score a TD on a 4 minute drive, giving us all just enough hope to keep watching 20-10.
Pats get a 3 and out. Then they have a promising drive that stalls out and the kick a FG. 20-13.
The trade field position for a few possessions, with the Dolphins evemtually adding a FG. The Pats score a TD, and another moral victory Dolphins 23 Patriots 20.
