Chiefs get ball back on a lateral that was first ruled a forward pass

And almost fumble it away on first play

With Gardner Minshew II in, it’s a nice time to remind people that there is not Gardner Minshew I, his dad just thought it looked cool to add the II

Bills O-Line not getting it done there. Allen reads the defender and throws to Diggs for the TD if he has half a second to think. And the failure to run it in before that too.

Are you suggesting that Wikipedia is wrong?

wiki:
Minshew was named after his father, Gardner Flint Minshew, a fact that most fans and sportswriters did not initially realize because the elder Minshew is often referred to by his middle name.[126][127] He goes by "Minshew II" rather than "Minshew Jr." at his mother's request, as she did not want her son to be nicknamed "Junior" or "Bubba".[128] His grandfather originally wanted Minshew to be named Beowulf, after the Old English hero, but his parents rejected the idea.[14]

I’m suggesting that I heard that once and thought it was funny so I made the decision to just believe it and not fact check

Ian Eagle and team looking pretty dopey there. 3rd down play for JAX, the receiver makes the catch and basically sits down, looking like he's lying across the line to gain. The announcers spend the next 2 minutes talking about how dumb it was not to stretch forward, and what JAX can do if it's 4th and short, not even allowing for the possibility that he got the 1st down....and when it's measured, it turns out it was just enough for the first. GJGE.

Man this game is sloppy. The ball is coated in butter or something.

LJ needs to slide there once he’s past the line to gain. You’re not going to make four guys miss.

I usually love the GFI, but you’ve got to punt up 3-0 with 4 minutes left in the half. It’s a field position game.

Edit: what @rodderick said.

Oh, I bought it completely. I just was ragging on Wiki.
After some research it was apparently a rumor based on his dad going by his middle name, and the fact that it’s II and not Jr. at the end. Apparently his parents thought if he were a Jr people would call him Junior which they didn’t want
