Exactly. They are what they are. A bad roster with a shit QB that will be non competitive if their defense is also missing a bunch of pieces.
I nominate the final exhibition game of 1989 against the Green Bay where they lost Tippett, Lippett, and Veris for the year.
But this is definitely up there.
The mediocre QB is too valuable to be in this game, your very best players on defense apparently aren't. Fuck this.

Rham and Zeke splitting series is fucking asinine. Rham gets better with more reps and they've kneecap'd him for a guy who won't even be on the team next year. (Yes, I know the Rhamondre results have been subpar)

He looks really bad this year, I get the whole "he gets better as the game goes on" argument but if you have another competent RB how can you keep feeding he guy who's not producing again and again? At some point it's on him.
What would you have done differently? Mac was a perfectly reasonable choice and path, given the circumstances. Now we know it’s probably time to try again. This is how the NFL works.
