Reading this thread, I’ve had frequent occasion to wonder what @luckiestman and some of our other esteemed Jets fan colleagues would make of the not infrequent assertion that certainly there must be other QBs of some minimum quality that could be acquired with little difficulty.
It is weird how these flash in the pan guys come and go, and then come back and you never can be sure. The Gardner Minshews.

I nominate the final exhibition game of 1989 against the Green Bay where they lost Tippett, Lippett, and Veris for the year.

But this is definitely up there.
That one has always stuck in my mind.

Losing this way to Jerrah hopefully bothers Kraft even more than your average blowout loss would.

2019: nobody left on the team
2020: Dugger, Onwenu - ok, good - not franchise - who else? Uche, Jennings? - underperformers
2021: Barmore yes, Rham looking suspect this season. Who else? Mac???
2022: ??? Jack Jones? We’ll see. 6th rounder Sam Roberts?
2023: promising so far

Bottom line they have not put together the talent they need from the draft
on what planet is uche an underperformer?

Rham and Zeke splitting series is fucking asinine. Rham gets better with more reps and they've kneecap'd him for a guy who won't even be on the team next year. (Yes, I know the Rhamondre results have been subpar)

Rham did nothing in 13 carries - that's not on the coaches.

Here
The head coach also chooses the roster.
What would you have done differently? Mac was a perfectly reasonable choice and path, given the circumstances. Now we know it’s probably time to try again. This is how the NFL works.

They should trade for Kirk Cousins.

I’m looking forward to the national media ripping the Cowboys for keeping their starters in and throwing up 28 points with 8 minutes left in the 4th, with the opponent benching their starting QB.

Oh wait….
